Membership FAQs
Who can be a member of SKY Campus Zürich?
SKY Campus Zürich is an inclusive student club that accepts membership from anyone who aligns with our mission and vision. We do not discriminate against any individual(s) for reasons of race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, sex, age, handicap, political views.
However, since we are a student club affiliated to the University of Zürich, we have two tiers of membership.
What are the different tiers of membership
Active Members (with voting rights): All students (Bachelors, Masters and PhD), staff (postdocs and mid-level staff) and trainees currently enrolled at the University of Zürich, ETH Zürich and other academic institutions of higher education in Zürich (ZHAW, ZHdK, PHZH, HWZ), regardless of country of citizenship, shall be eligible to be a voting member of the Club.
Associate members (no voting rights): Any interested faculty, alumni or citizens in general who accept the Constitution and its aims and objectives are welcome to join the Club as associate members, without voting rights.
What are the benefits of being a member of SKY Campus Zürich?
Members of SKY Campus Zürich receive many benefits:
1. You have the option to subscribe to our newsletter and receive updates about our upcoming events.
2. You can join our workshops and retreats on a priority basis, which means, if an event is overbooked, SKY Campus members have the priority of attendance.
3. You receive a discount on SKY Campus Happiness Retreat course fees. Possible discounts on any other SKY Retreat (like the SKY Silence Retreat, SKY Leadership Retreat, etc).
4. You can volunteer for the club and also with our partner organizations (International Association of Human Values and Art of Living International Foundation) on their projects.
5. You can become a board member and contribute to the operation and growth of the club.
6. Any voluntary contribution to the club can be recognized with a certificate/letter.
Do I have to pay a membership fee?
No membership fee shall be charged to any members. However members have the option to donate to the club. We also accept donations from any person or group that’s aligned with our values
